Robert Harrington received his medical degree from Tufts University, completed residency at the University of Chicago and then infectious diseases training at the University of Washington. He is currently professor of medicine at the University of Washington, medical director of the Harborview Medical Center HIV clinic, associate section chief of infectious diseases at Harborview Medical Center and director of the clinical research core of the UW Center for AIDS Research. His career interests center on patient care, teaching, general infectious diseases and clinical HIV. Dr. Harrington has published over 50 manuscripts and book chapters on a variety of HIV and infectious diseases topics.
